EnvolPrep is a free online platform designed to help you prepare for the CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program) test. We offer practice tests for all four CELPIP sections - Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening - with instant AI-powered feedback on Writing and Speaking responses. Our tests are inspired by the CELPIP format that Paragon publishes, so you can practise under similar conditions. They are our own material, not the real exam.

Yes, every practice test is free. Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening, with no payment and no credit card. AI feedback on Writing and Speaking has a daily quota, and the test page always shows how much of it you have left. If you want more, you can buy an optional paid pass: a Day pass ($4.99 CAD, up to 100 AI reviews in its 24 hours), a 7-day pass ($5.99 CAD) or a 30-day pass ($14.99 CAD), each up to 30 AI reviews per 24 hours.

Yes, a free account is required to access practice tests and track your progress. Registration only requires your email address - we use a passwordless login system where you receive a one-time code via email each time you sign in. You can also sign in with your Google account for faster access.

No. EnvolPrep is an independent test preparation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Prometric Canada or Paragon Testing Enterprises, who own and deliver the CELPIP test. CELPIP is a registered trademark of Paragon Testing Enterprises, acquired by Prometric Canada in 2021. We provide CELPIP-inspired practice materials to help you prepare for the exam.

EnvolPrep covers all four CELPIP sections: • Reading - Multiple reading passages with comprehension questions, timed to the published CELPIP structure. • Writing - Two writing tasks (email and survey response) with AI-powered feedback on grammar, vocabulary, coherence, and task completion. • Speaking - Eight speaking tasks covering advice, experiences, scene descriptions, predictions, comparisons, and opinions, with AI analysis of fluency, pronunciation, and content. • Listening - Part 1 (Problem Solving) with 3-conversation scenarios and Part 2 (Listening to a Daily Life Conversation) with standalone dialogues, plus more parts coming soon.

We build our tests to the CELPIP format Paragon publishes: the structure, the timing, the question types and the number of questions. We aim a little harder than we believe the real exam to be, so the practice stretches you. We cannot promise the match is exact. Paragon can change the exam at any time, our questions are written by us, and the difficulty of a real test is not something we can measure. Check celpip.ca for the current format before your test date.

We recommend practicing regularly for at least 4-6 weeks before your test date. Aim to complete at least one full practice test per section each week. Use the AI feedback to identify your weak areas and focus your study time accordingly. Consistent daily practice of 30-60 minutes is more effective than occasional long sessions.

When you submit a Writing response, our AI analyzes it across multiple dimensions: grammar and spelling accuracy, vocabulary range and appropriateness, coherence and organization, task completion, and tone. You receive a detailed evaluation with specific scores, strengths, areas for improvement, and actionable suggestions. The feedback is generated by OpenAI language models.

For Speaking tests, the process is: you record your response using your device microphone, our system transcribes your audio using OpenAI Whisper, then the AI evaluates your transcription for fluency, pronunciation indicators, vocabulary usage, grammar, content relevance, and task completion. You get detailed feedback with specific improvement suggestions. The entire process takes about 10-15 seconds after you finish recording.

It may be. Your answers go to OpenAI for feedback, and our OpenAI account shares this data with OpenAI, so OpenAI may use it to improve and train its models. In return, OpenAI gives us free daily usage, which keeps AI feedback mostly free. Please do not put personal details, like your full name, address or ID numbers, in your answers.

Free accounts get a daily allowance of Speaking and Writing AI evaluations. We tune the exact number as costs move, so the Writing and Speaking pages show your current allowance and what is left of it. Limits reset at midnight UTC, and there is also a platform-wide daily budget shared across all users. If you need more, you can buy an optional paid pass: a Day pass ($4.99 CAD, up to 100 AI reviews in its 24 hours), a 7-day pass ($5.99 CAD) or a 30-day pass ($14.99 CAD), each up to 30 AI reviews per 24 hours. Reading and Listening are scored instantly and use no AI quota.

Currently, EnvolPrep offers Part 1 (Listening to Problem Solving) and Part 2 (Listening to a Daily Life Conversation). Part 1 features 3-conversation scenarios with 8 questions each. Part 2 features standalone conversations with 5 questions each. We are actively adding Parts 3-6 covering Information, News Items, Discussions, and Viewpoints.

Each Listening test begins with instructions describing the scenario and speakers. You then play the audio, which plays once, as the published CELPIP format describes. After the audio finishes, questions appear one by one with 30 seconds per question. You cannot go back to previous questions or replay the audio. For Part 1, this process repeats for each of the 3 conversations before you see your results.

No, the audio plays only once. Paragon describes the CELPIP listening audio as playing once with no pause, rewind or replay, so we practise the same way. It builds the focused listening test day asks for.

EnvolPrep works on all modern web browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. For Speaking tests, you need a device with a working microphone. We recommend using a desktop or laptop with Chrome for the best experience, especially for Speaking tests where audio recording quality matters.

Yes. Your Dashboard shows your complete activity history including all completed tests, scores, and AI feedback. You can review detailed results for any past test, compare your performance across sessions, and track improvement over time. The Dashboard also shows your daily streak and recent activity.

First, make sure you have granted microphone permission to the website in your browser settings. Try refreshing the page and clicking "Allow" when prompted. If the issue persists, try using a different browser (Chrome works best). Check that no other application is using your microphone. On mobile devices, ensure the browser app has microphone access in your device settings.

Both are on your Account page. "Download my data" saves a copy of everything we hold about you as a JSON file. "Delete my account" shows what is deleted and what is kept, then emails you a code to confirm. Deleting removes your account, results, AI feedback and leaderboard entries, and signs you out on every device. Payment records are kept for tax rules, no longer linked to you, and backup copies expire within about 6 months.

There are three passes. Day pass: 24 hours for $4.99 CAD, up to 100 AI reviews per 24 hours. 7-day pass: 7 days for $5.99 CAD, up to 30 AI reviews per 24 hours. 30-day pass: 30 days for $14.99 CAD, up to 30 AI reviews per 24 hours. AI reviews count Writing and Speaking together. They count in 24-hour blocks that start when you pay, not at midnight UTC, and do not use up your free daily allowance. A pass also gives more AI Tutor sessions a day. Each pass is one payment, with no subscription and no auto-renew, and its time starts when it becomes active. Reading and Listening are always free, with no limit. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.

Yes, if the pass did not work. You get a full refund when your payment went through but the pass never became active, or AI feedback kept failing while your pass was active and we could not fix it. Ask within 7 days of the purchase by emailing viktorbezai@gmail.com, and we reply within 2 business days. We do not refund a pass that worked and was used. The full policy is on the Contact page.

Yes, the core platform - including all practice tests, scoring, and daily AI feedback - will remain free forever. The optional passes are the only paid feature, and they exist to cover AI processing costs for users who need intensive practice sessions.

Viktor Bezai does, out of pocket: the transcription, the servers, the database, the storage, and any AI use beyond OpenAI's free daily usage. Coffees and passes go straight against those bills.
