About EnvolPrep
Built by an immigrant who had to take CELPIP too.
Why I built it
Hi, I'm Viktor. I moved from Ukraine to London, Ontario, and like a lot of newcomers, I had to take CELPIP.
Coming from Ukraine, everything in Canada felt expensive, and CELPIP prep was no different. Practice tests and courses cost a lot, and good free tools were hard to find.
So I started building EnvolPrep. I want people to be able to prepare for CELPIP for free, as much as I can make that happen. I'm a software developer, and I work on this in my free time.
What's free, and who pays for it
Every practice test is free, no credit card needed. Reading and Listening are checked right away, and there's no limit.
AI feedback on Writing and Speaking isn't free for me. Every review costs money, and I pay for it. That's why each account has a daily limit, and all of you share 200 free AI reviews a day, Writing and Speaking together.
OpenAI helps a bit: our account shares answers with OpenAI, and in return we get some free usage each day. The FAQ explains what that means for your answers.
If you need more reviews, there are optional passes. They also help me keep the free part going. More on the Support us page.
Not just practice tests
- Real people saying English words, in short YouTube clips
- Idioms and phrasal verbs, with examples
- CELPIP news, plus free events, classes and other helpers I come across
- Guides to the score chart, test dates, re-evaluation and every Speaking task
Where the content comes from
- Anything about the real test comes from official sources: celpip.ca, the official study materials and canada.ca. Fact pages link to their sources and say when I last checked them.
- I write practice tasks, guides and articles with help from AI, then check the facts myself.
- The AI feedback gives you an estimate, not an official CELPIP score.
- EnvolPrep is not affiliated with Paragon Testing Enterprises, Prometric or IRCC.
